QA errors and warnings are automatic linguistic rules which compare the source segments and their translations and trigger errors when the conditions are not met. If you have warnings on a segment, you will see an orange bar on the right of the target segment. If you have errors, a similar red bar will appear. QA errors and warnings are calculated when you save a segment (ctrl+S). You can have a quick overview of the errors by hovering the orange/red bar and a more detailed description by clicking on the QA check widget in the right side widget bar.

Those errors and Warning are just there to bring your attention to linguistic rules but will not block your task in any way if you choose to ignore them.
